OTLC 2026

The Tribology of the Low Countries conference is a biennial event organized by the University of Twente and Ghent University under the umbrella of the Bond voor Materialenkennis. This edition is co-organized with the COST Action CA23155 on Ocean Tribology, bringing together academia and industry to address emerging challenges and opportunities in marine and offshore applications.

The Ocean Tribology at the Low Countries conference covers the full spectrum of tribology, including friction, wear, lubrication, material degradation and condition monitoring in harsh marine environments. It provides an interactive forum for researchers and industry professionals to share results, exchange insights, and foster collaborations.
